Atari ST/TT/Falcon "Power Without the Price" with Busy Bee tee
What is this design about?
Show your Atari computer love. This shirt incorporates Atari's "Power Without the Price" slogan and the Busy Bee mouse cursor from the Atari ST, Atari TT and Atari Falcon lines of 16/32-bit and 32-bit computers.
Remember when mouse cursors were new and exciting? OK, maybe *you* don't, but some of us do :D - the 80's were an interesting time in the hardware world, with manufacturers shifting from 8-bit processors to 16 and 32-bit processors and the whole WIMP (Windows, Icons, Mouse and Pointer) look was getting started. One of the first of these computers with a graphical interface was the Atari ST - others were the Xerox STAR (the granddaddy of them all), the Apple Lisa and Apple Macintosh, and the Commodore Amiga. This tee-shirt incorporates the busy bee mouse cursor from the GEM desktop on the Atari ST, Atari TT and related computers. It was the shape that was displayed when the computer was busy with something -processing, writing to the disk, etc. (it was also a part of the family crest of the Tramiel family, who had recently departed Commodore Business Machines and purchased Atari from Warner Communications).
